“India ka tyohaar” is around the corner. Once it starts, we will get busy supporting our beloved teams and the players. The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 auction took place in Chennai on February 18. A total of 57 players were sold during the mini-auction. Like every season, some players attracted massive attention from team owners while some were unable to pick any buyer.

Here is a list of top 10 most expensive IPL players of 2021:-

10. Nathan Coulter-Nile – Mumbai Indians (₹5 crore)

Australian all-rounder Coulter-Nile was let go by the Mumbai Indians after the 2020 IPL but will be getting back again with the defending champions in 2021.

The team spent ₹5 crore ($688,000) to re-sign the 33-year-old, who will enter his seventh season of IPL in April.

Coulter-Nile’s only activity since the last IPL was with the Melbourne Stars in BBL 10, where he took 11 wickets in six matches however disappointed with his batsmanship. He is someone who will give more depth to the batting order of Mumbai Indians and will play a crucial role if the top and the middle order fails to put runs on the board.

9. Tom Curran – Delhi Capitals (₹5.25 crore)
